This collection contains ninety-three 35mm slides, most of which were taken by Campbell, during his academic career. Subjects include: campus scenes, people, agricultural machinery and practices, and the Central Valley. The people identified on the slides were employees of the Department of Plant Pathology, unless otherwise noted.

Robert N. Campbell served as Professor of Plant Pathology at the University of California, Davis from 1959-1993. He received his M.S. (1954) and Ph.D. (1957) from the University of Minnesota.
